AC to DC Converter Rotating Self-built TIG

AC to DC Converter Rotating Self-built TIG, I have to weld Aluminum max 2mm minimum thickness 0.6 mm with a TIG welder. TIG welders can operate in 2 modes or DC or AC square wave, I will make ‘one that operates DC. TIG welders are commercial eg from 30 to 150 Amps DC and cost 3000.00 euros. So I should be enough for 20 to 70 amperes DC.

I am following the directions here ‘means:
How to Make a Homemade Tig Welder (http://classicbroncos.com/homemade-welder.shtml)

Question: Since I have an engine 5Cavalli to link the alternator and since 5Cavalli have to turn the 6000-7000giri and produces 130Ampere when I needed any more ‘or less 20-70Ampere. Can I connect instead a powerful engine type washing machine 2kW 1500giri and obtain 20-70Ampere that I need?

Answer: A 5HP motor 3.6KW so I think that equals a motor, Electric smaller, 2.5-.. 3KW can also work well. Both the alternator has to recharge the battery, so if you see that the voltage goes too low, you can pause a little longer. But the motor of the washing machine do not think that comes even to 300W, then we need a much more powerful electric motor, as that used in air compressors, or pumps’ s water.

I think you do first to build a transformer 220/12V 140A, put a nice rectifier with diodazzi from 150A and send all the drums. Alternatively you could try with IGBT switching with wings, very light, efficient, and now also economic.

P.S. the processors who can recover from a welding electrode, but you have to remove some spirits to bring the voltage x 12Vac to 40Vac. The diodes can be recovered from the deck of an alternator ’s car.
